Week 3

Week 3 a.k.a. CIT freshers week has came and gone! After all the em. . .''activities'' of the week, it's left me without a penny to my name. :-(
Besides all the different nights out there was a lot of entertainment during the day in the student centre. There was a blind date game in there Wednesday and it was a good laugh with evryone taking part in it taking the piss out of it. On Thursday there was a hypnotist. I didn't see much of him because of all the people, expect I did see him twice getting smacked in the head with a kit-kat. I'd say it was fairly sore, even tho he pretended it didn't hurt.
Our Creativity, Innovation & Teamwork class was giving an assignment to create a 'Murder Mystery' game. We were split up into groups and each group must come up with there own version of the game.
This pretty much sums up week 3, only 10 weeks to our holdays I think? The weeks seem to be going fast enough so let's hope it stays that way! :-)

Week 2

I've just finished my second week of college. I'm slowly getting to know people in my class (it would help if I wasn't so afraid to talk though! :-P) and I'm getting to know what sort of people the lecturers are too i.e which ones are easy going, nice or boring! Last week was more of an introduction to the course and to college, this week was where the proper course begins, which can only mean assignments and learning! :-( This week was also UCC fresher's week and there was a few good nights out and a few hangovers to go with them. It was a good warm up for C.I.T. freshers week which starts next week so lets hope it's as good! Tuesday was society's day where the student centre was turned into a hall filled with stalls of all the different society's that C.I.T have to offer. I signed up for soccer that day so I hope that it'll be good, I might even get a game or two if there desperate enough to play me! The weekend saw Chelsea lose to Wigan :-D and Liverpool batter Hull 6-1. :-D

First Week

I started in C.I.T. and just finished my first week of I.T. Support.
I thought the first week was interesting. I have six different modules in my course.
The six are Network Fundamentals, Statistical Calculations, C.I.T. (Creativity, Innovation &Teamwork), Algorithmic Problem Solving, Programming Fundamentals & Computer Architecture.
